Layover Lounge privacy policy

1. Who we are

Layover Lounge is a set of 27 free travel games at games.advbyant.com, presented by Adventures by Anthony. The games are just for fun. There are no prizes, no purchases and no costs.

2. Signing in

You sign in with your email address and we email you a 6-digit code. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy of the code, and it expires after 10 minutes. If a name is already linked to your email, we use it as your display name. Otherwise we use the part of your email before the @.

3. What we store

Your email address, your display name, and for each game: your best score, your last 10 scores with the date and time played, and how many rounds you've played. For trips, we store the itinerary, the number of stops, the score from each stop, your total miles, the class you earned and the date. We keep your best trip and your last 10 trips for each itinerary. Your individual moves, answers and taps are not stored.

4. Why we store it

Only to show you your scores and personal bests on any device you sign in from. There are no public leaderboards, so other players never see your scores. We never sell your data, share it for advertising or use it to contact you about anything else.

5. On your device

Two sign-in cookies keep you signed in. They're secure, can't be read by page scripts and are cleared when you sign out. The lounge also saves a few things in your browser: whether sound is on, whether you've seen the welcome tips, which trivia questions you've seen recently so they don't repeat, and how far you've got in a direct flight so you can resume it. These never leave your device, and a saved direct flight is cleared when you finish it.

6. What we don't collect

No payment details, contacts or device fingerprints. No analytics or third-party ad trackers. Pin the Map uses a pretend globe, not your location. Photo Stop doesn't use your camera. Sound effects and phone vibrations run on your device only.

7. Services we use

Netlify hosts the site and stores your scores. Resend sends the sign-in code email. Your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated sign-in attempts, and you can play no more than 120 scored rounds an hour, to keep the service fair and stop abuse.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your scores until you delete them. Only your 10 most recent rounds per game are kept, so older rounds are removed as you play.

9. Deleting your data

You can delete all your Layover Lounge scores yourself while signed in. This takes effect straight away and can't be undone. To get a copy of your data, or to have your sign-in removed as well, {{ contactLine }} We'll respond within 30 days.

10. Children

Layover Lounge isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has signed in, contact us and we'll delete their data.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If we ever want to store something new, we'll tell you in the lounge first.
